Acton High School has been the springboard for a vast range of careers. Our students have gone on to fields including music, sport, academia, business, education, journalism, science, politics and the armed forces.

We are proud to have educated members of The Who, one of the world’s most famous and successful rock bands, and, more recently, SBTV founder Jamal Edwards (pictured right, visiting Acton High in 2015), who in 2014 became the youngest person ever to be awarded an MBE.

A small selection of alumni stories are available in the PDF below.

Share your story

We love hearing what former students are doing, so whether you’re studying at university, working or retired, please share your story with us here, indicating whether you are happy for us to publish it on this website. Sharing your story helps to inspire the next generation of Acton High School students to success.

Other ways in which alumni can help future generations include offering work experience and sharing their professional experiences at one of the work-related learning events Acton High organises. Please contact Work Related Learning Officer Ms Stocks for details of how you can get involved.
