BBC School Report 2015

Acton High School has been making the news as a participant in the BBC School Report 2015 project. Our team of young reporters has been investigating four recent stories from life at Acton High, looking at the significance of each and interviewing the personalities behind them.

The team report on World Book Day and its importance in engaging young people with literature, the work Acton High is doing with Sustrans to encourage cycling and reduce traffic congestion, and the role of the Anne Frank Guides project in combating prejudice and discrimination.

They also reflect on the school’s recent production of Dracula, with an exclusive interview with the star of the show, Naqib Ahmadi, about the complex character at the centre of Bram Stoker’s classic gothic horror tale.
