Acton High School’s approach to Special Educational Needs and Disability (SEND) reflects the principles of the school’s mission, Achievement by All. The school seeks to establish an environment in which learning flourishes and the potential of every individual is realised. We aim to provide effective opportunities for all students by responding to individuals’ diverse learning needs, setting appropriate challenges and overcoming barriers. Students are encouraged to succeed by both the positive and supportive ethos of the school and strong links with home, feeder schools and relevant agencies.
Our SEND provision is co-ordinated by the Head of Inclusion and Inclusion Team in conjunction with our Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator, Ms Gardiner.
Acton High’s SEND Policy is available here and you can read our 2015-16 SEN Information Report here.
