Despite being a relatively young Sixth Form, Acton High has already established a strong reputation for helping its students win places on the most competitive courses at the highest-rated universities.
In recent years our alumni have gone on to study at Russell Group institutions both in and outside London. In the capital students have won places at Imperial College, King’s College, the London School of Economics, Queen Mary and University College. Outside London, destinations have included Cardiff, Leeds, Newcastle-upon-Tyne, Nottingham and Southampton. Former students are also studying at a host of other leading universities including Brunel, Essex, Kent, Reading and London’s School of Oriental and African Studies.
They are reading a broad array of subjects: Anthropology, Architecture, Business Management, Chemistry, Chinese, Computer Science, Dentistry, Digital Film Production, Economics, Engineering, History, Journalism, Law, International Relations, Mathematics, Medicine, Photography, Politics, Psychology and Spanish are amongst the courses currently being studied by former students.
This is a track record of which Acton High is very proud. Our Sixth Form is a place where students are helped to fulfil their potential and reach their personal targets. The array of universities and courses to which our alumni have progressed is testament to both these individuals’ hard work and the striving, aspirational ethos that helps propel them to success.
