Easter 2017 Newsletter

The Easter 2017 edition of the Acton High Newsletter is now available below as both a PDF and, for those with Flash enabled in their browser, an Issuu embed.

The issue reflects a busy time for Acton High’s performing arts activities, with one of the school’s bands, Thalash, winning their category at the Hastings International Musical Festival and being confirmed to appear at the renowned Hanwell Hootie festival in May, and three of our young actors making their West End debut.

The Artwork of the half-term, the ninth since the series began in December 2015, is by Denzil Alverez. It is the first time his work has been chosen for the half-termly title, although those who follow our ‘Artwork of the Fortnight’ series on Twitter will recognise Denzil as a three-time recipient of that prize.

The issue also includes reports on a trip to France’s beautiful Opal Coast, the visit of Sixth Form politics students to a revision conference at Westminster, the welcoming of a group of Chinese visitors to Acton High and our latest Jack Petchey Achievement Award winners.
